This
project consisted of reconstructing balconies and walkways
due to structural damage caused by water intrusion.
SUMMARY
OF WORK PERFORMED
Removed
and disposed of deteriorated sheathing and framing at
balconies, walkways, decorative arches and columns and
replaced with new pressure treated sheathing and framing
Reconstructed
columns, arches, walkways and balcony decks
Removed
and replaced deteriorated plywood and beams at stucco
band
Removed
and replaced galvanized metal flashings and aluminum T-bar
flashing and installed membrane waterproofing, kick-out
flashings and accessories and inspected decks for watertight
envelope
Provided
concrete topping with proper slope for drainage away from
buildings and cut control joints in concrete topping for
shrinkage crack control
Provided
new stucco finish to walls and columns per manufacturer’s
specifications
Repainted
building exteriors to complete the project
