Project: Jefferson Summit

PROBLEM

Due to poor workmanship and construction defects, Jefferson Summit experienced major water intrusion that resulted in extensive structural damage.

SOLUTION

Working in conjunction with architects and waterproofing consultants, Leffler & Heaney helped develop a customized solution to mediate existing water damage and reconstruct Jefferson Summit to prevent future water intrusion. The reconstruction included the removal and replacement of the following:

  • Complete exterior wall system
  • Structural framing members
  • Deteriorated fascia and soffit
  • Exterior windows and sliding glass doors
  • Fiberglass shingle roofing system
  • Balcony lightweight concrete and waterproofing

In addition to the reconstruction, the property received an enhanced look with the installation of synthetic stone, foam bands and shutters.
